The Oklahoma City is near the Stillwater city. It takes only one hour to reach and the Stillwater residents come to the Oklahoma city on weekends. Another major city Tulsa is also close to Stillwater and lies on the Northeast of the city. The Stillwater residents have an option to visit these lively cities for recreation during weekends.
The city has a combination of modern cultural international flavours and old western friendliness. Stillwater was rated by Golf Digest as one of the top ten best places to retire and play golf. An Oklahoma-based magazine has also recently rated Stillwater to be the "Friendliest City in Oklahoma."
