Josh Groban was born in February 27, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. His father was the Jewish. Josh Groban has joined the Bridges Academy in the start and then he attended theatre classes. He was also expert of the penny whistle in school time. In 1997 , Josh Groban attended the Interlochen Arts Camp which is also when he began taking voice lessons outside of school. When Josh Groban was 17 year old, his coach has introduced him to Foster. Groban worked for Foster in many events. Josh attended the Los Angeles High School for the Arts practice as a theater major and he has graduated in 1999. After graduation, he got admission in Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Groban left university just after 1 year when he was offered a recording contract at Warner Bros. Josh Groban's first album have purely classical songs. Groban has performed "There For Me" with Sarah Brightman on her La Luna Tour. He also worked for many benefit shows, like: "The Andre Agassi Grand Slam Event For Children", singing alongside Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Don Henley and Robin Williams; "Muhammad Ali's Fight Night Foundation" which honored Michael J. Fox and others; "The Family Celebration" (2001), Hillary Rodham Clinton, and David E. Kelley, Michelle Pfeiffer; and Michael Milken's CapCure event, which was performed to raise funds for the research of cancer.

In 2001 Josh Groban played the role of Malcolm Wyatt is the series "You're Still You” Everyone likes his performance. His album Josh Groban was released on November 20, 2001. On February 24, 2002, Josh Groban performed "The Prayer" with Charlotte Church at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics in wicter. In the next month, he performed "To Where You Are" and "The Prayer" at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway, and joined The Corrs, Ronan Keating, Sting, Lionel Richie and others for a holiday performance at the Vatican in Rome, Italy. Forster has  produced his second album. Josh also performed the song "Remember Me"  on the Troy soundtrack. He also performed on the soundtrack to the 2004 animated film The Polar Express.

Josh Groban was nominated for more than a dozen awards in 2004, including the American Music Award, World Music Award, Academy Award, and a Grammy. Josh is a romantic person and he uses music to express himself.
