This was a hit effort by Buble and then the album Michael Buble was released by Warner Brothers. This was the first album released by Warner Brothers in South Africa and was among top 5 albums. This success opened the door for him and he started visiting all over the world. Even he was successful in places like Philippines and Singapore. The album was going Platinum and reaching top ten albums of the UK and Canada. In Australia it was No. 1. This huge success paved the way for Buble on international level and he won the "New Artist of the Year" award at the Juno Awards of 2004 and his self-titled album was nominated for "Album of the Year". So, this Canadian superhero is flying high.
Buble's Christmas EP Let it Snow in late 2003 which was very popular in Australian singles chart with the ranking of top 40. His live album and video in April 2004 was in the top 10 of the Billboard video charts. It also reached top 50 of the Australian album charts as at the end of April and the Billboard 200 album charts. Let it Snow was re-released in the United States on October 9, 2007 which also gained popularity.
Buble has also worked in variety of films in the past few years. His appearance, as a karaoke singer in Duets was the best performance of his film career.
Michael Buble was in love with long time girl friend Dobbie Timuss who was a stage artist, dancer and singer. Both have worked in so many songs and albums. Their engagement ended in November 2005. This inspired Buble to co-write the hit original song "Lost".
