This beautiful singer was born in 1983 in Long View Texas, her father was a retired police officer and taught her the use of guns at an early age, Miranda later on became a keen deer hunter. Her interest in music didn’t start till the age of nine, around this time she went along with her parents to the concert of acclaimed musician Garth Brooks and this was the point at which she finally decide to pursue a career in music. Her parents encouraged her and as her father performed and also wrote country music Lambert started exploring her music abilities under the guidance of him. She started singing pop music and performed occasionally at the Johnny High Country Music Review which previously had earned fame for launching the career of another star artist LeAnn Rimes.

After some time Miranda got fed up of doing pop music and instead diverted her interests towards country music, she started taking guitar lessons and writing her own songs. Lambert professional debut in the country music field was at the time when she was in high school. She had the privilege to perform at a venue which was famous for showcasing famous artists like Brooks & Dunn, Willie Nelson and last but not the least the legendary Elvis Presley, the name of this famous place was Reo Palm Isle Ballroom located in the city of Long View. Her first album was self named and released by Miranda herself in 2001 but success came to her with her second album Kerosene that was released by Epic Nashville Records in 2005. This album was a stunner and toped the US Country Charts, was at #18 on US Billboard 200 and she immediately got noticed by the music industry.

In the year 2007 Miranda joined hand with Columbia Nashville to release yet another superb album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend , this album raced to the #1 position on US Country and landed at #6 on US Billboard 200. For this album she won the Cover Girl Fresh Face of Country Music Award and the single “Gunpowder and Lead” from this album was certified Platinum and nominated Single of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards. Revolution was her fourth album that was released in 2009, this was also a splendid effort as it won accolades from fans as well as the critics. This album won Album of the Year award both at Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards in 2010. It was certified Platinum and one of its singles “The House That Built Me” also went Platinum. Two singles from Revolution namely “Heart Like Mine” and “The House That Built Me” landed on #1 position Us Country Charts
