Righty Scot Shields and Lefty Darren Oliver will take care of set-up duties Rodriguez. Justin Speier and Hector Carrasco may also be set-up men. Either way, each of the members in the pen will be counted on to shut down opposing hitters and keep games close.
They have to work on scoring enough runs. $50 million have already been spent in signing center fielder Gary Matthews Jr. to a five year contract. He should try and duplicate his career year output (.313, 19HR). Guerrero is a hitting machine but he still needs people to get on in front of him. Shea Hillenbrand has also joined and he will fill the DH spot but is capable of playing either of the infield corner positions.
