The shows of Disney on Ice began in 1981, under the name 'Walt Disney's World on ice'. Later after 16 years since its first show, this name was changed to 'Disney on ice' in 1997. Today it displays off figure skaters dressed as Disney cartoon characters in performances. These vibrant performances derive music, plot and story-line from the various Disney films.

At present, Disney on Ice is running ten productions and touring companies. Entertaining people particularly children, these shows have played all over the worlds including both traditional skating and non-traditional skating regions. Disney on Ice Finding a Memo

This is an innovative production by Feld Entertainment. The production plunges audiences into the amazing underwater world of clownfish Nemo, his overprotective father marlin and cheerfully optimistic Dory. Set to an energetic musical backdrop, this animated world 'down water' comes to life in a brilliant rainbow of color. Digital projection is combined in a captivating manner to make audiences visually submersed under the water. It gives feel of being a part of the aquatic adventure in this dynamic debut.

Disney on ice High School Musical

The high School Musical was opened on August 31, 2007.It is strictly based on the plot of both High School Musical and its sequel High School Musical 2. However, this version does not feature any of the actors from the movies. The musical is directed by Kenny Ortega and was co-produced by the co-choreographer of the movies.
