For all those country music freaks, Billy Currington tickets provide a rare opportunity to watch out for.

Since a very young age, Billy Currington was intrigued by country music and auditioned for a place at Opryland while still a junior at Effingham County High School in Georgia. Due to unfavorable audition results, the artist relocated to Nashville so he could pursue a career in music. His initial efforts did not allow him any significant improvement so he began singing for a neighboring bar called Cavalier Country Club. While in Nashville, he also tried his hand at working for a concrete company, as well as a personal trainer. One of his clients recommended him to try writing songs and encourage him to record demo tapes, which eventually led him to cuts by big acts such as Tracy Byrd, Marty Raybon and George Strait. After sometime he was offered to sing with RCA Records, but ended up joining Mercury Records, instead, in 2003.
The first single from Billy Currington’s debut album was Walk a Little Straighter, which climbed up on the eighth spot on Hot Country Singles and Tracks, the same year of the album’s release. This established his name among the big Country performers based in Nashville. His first song to enter the top five hits on country charts was his debut album’s second single titled I Got a Feelin. In 2004, he succeeded in making a consecutive third hit in the top ten, with Shania Twain on the duet Party for Two, which was included in Twain’s Greatest Hits, being released in two versions. The country format featured Currington, which helped his name to soar higher in the genre. His second album peaked on the second number on the charts of Top Country Albums, while also going taking the eleventh place on Billboard 200. With this album he finally produced a Number One with his track Must Be Doin Something Right, while the album also attained the certified platinum status.
Billy Currington’s next two albums proved very successful with Little Bit of Everything producing many tracks spotted on Billboard charts, including Tangled Up peaking at number thirty, Don’t climbing up to the second place, and People are Crazy and That’s How Country Boys Roll both hitting the Number One spot.  His third album Enjoy Yourself released several chart-topping tunes such as Pretty Good at Drinkin Beer and Let Me Down Easy, both of which peaked at Number One. Another single titled Love Done Gone and Like My Dog, released on radio also became very popular.
Billy Currington has received a few awards and nominations within less than ten years of working as a musician. In 2006, he won a CMT Music Award in the category of Hottest Video of the Year for his song video of Must Be Doin’ Something Right. Then four years later, in 2010, he received a Grammy nomination for Male Country Vocal Performance for his song People Are Crazy, while he was also nominated for two Academy of Country Music Awards in the categories of Single Record of the Year, and Song of the Year, both for his album and song titled, People are Crazy.
