Hailing from Macon Georgia, as soon as Aldean finished his high school, he decided to pursue music as his career. And in that pursuit, he had his father’s support. During that time Aldean started performing in various towns along with his band and later he started writing as well along with one of his band mates. It was in 1998, when Aldean performed one of his own songs at an Atlanta Nightclub. There he was discovered by Michael Knox of Warner Chappell, a song publishing company. Soon after, Aldean signed a deal with Warner Chappell and relocated to Nashville.

After moving to Nashville, Aldean was offered with two consecutive record deals, but he was dropped from both of them for certain reasons. After a couple of failed attempts to score a record deal, Aldean was finally discovered by Lawrence Mathis at Wildhorse Saloon. After that, Mathis became Aldean’s manager. Aldean still didn’t get a record deal and decided to leave Nashville if he still fails. Fortunately enough he was offered a record deal from Broken Bow Records and with them he released his self titled debut album in 2005. The album provide Aldean with the kind of break that he was looking for, and spawned Aldean’s first number one hit titled “Why”. Following year Aldean also earned an award for Top New Male Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards. After his debut album, Aldean has released a total of three more albums to date, with “My Kinda Party”, being his most recent one.

Chris Young on the other hand also had his interests strongly embedded in the country music. Even at his early ages, Young performed at a number of theatrical productions for children. During his high school years, Young formed a band and started performing in local clubs. And as soon as he reached college, Young was doing more than 150 shows per year. Afterwards, Young decided to try his luck in a talent hunt show called the Nashville Star. Young auditioned for the show, and after it was all set and done, Young came out winner and earned a recording contract with RCA Records. Later, in the same year, Young made his studio debut with his self titled album. “Drinkin’ Me Lonely” was the first single from the album and it peaked at #42 spot. “Voices” became Chris Young’s first Top Forty single after it was released as his third overall single.

On September 1, 2008 Young released his second studio album titled “The Man I Want to Be”. The album featured the covered versions of Rose in Paradise and Rainy Night in Georgia. In addition it also featured “Gettin’ You Home”, which ended up being Young’s first number one single of his career as a country musician. The album spawned two number one hit singles overall, one being “Getting’s you Home” while the other one was the title track. Young’s third number one hit came when he re-released “Voices” in 2010. Young’s most recent studio release is “Neon”, which surfaced the music stores on July 12, 2011. The album received positive reviews overall, and featured seven tracks that were co-written by Young himself.
