With a British ancestry, Timberlake was raised in the Baptist religion but he considers himself more 'spiritual than religious', though still a Christian. Both his parents divorced about 1985 and have remarried. Receiving radio and Internet play on July 7, 2006, the song premiered at #90 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles and by week nine it reached number one, where it remained for seven consecutive weeks. The album's second single, 'My Love', featuring rapper T.I., reached number one on the Hot 100 for the week ending November 11, 2006.
Justin Timberlake's romantic life has been a sad one with two early teen romances ending unhappily and a high-profile celebrity relationship with fellow pop singer Britney Spears ending abruptly in March 2002.
