While Josefowicz started learning violin at an early age, she was supported by her parents who also learned the instrument along with her. She started taking formal lessons with Idel Low at the age of five and by the time she was eight she started taking classes at the Colburn School with under her teacher Robert Lipsett. By the time she was thirteen, her family relocated to Philadelphia where she studied at the Curtis Institute of Music along with Felix Galimir, Jaime Laredo, and Jascha Brodsky. While she was still a teenager, she already started performing with several symphony orchestras in United States as well as in Asia and Europe. In 1994, Josefowicz made her debut at the Carnegie Hall with a performance of Tchaikovsky Concerto along with the Academy of St. Martin in the Field and Sir Neville Marriner. As a soloist, Josefowicz has performed all across the world as well. Over the years, she has performed in New Zealand, China, Japan, Europe, Australia and America.
