Luke Bryan is a Georgia-based counter singer-songwriter, who initially gained recognition for his lyrical contributions for Billy Currington and Travis Tritt music in the early 2000s. The artist singed with Capitol Records of Nashville in 2007, releasing an album titled I’ll Stay Me with hit singles including We Rode in Trucks, Country Man and All My Friends Say. Since the age of fourteen
Luke Bryan has been experimenting with instruments such as his first guitar gifted to him by his parents. After having learnt how to play it, he joined several local musical acts and started playing in local clubs. On graduating from Lee County High School, he decided to relocate to Nashville to pursue a career in music, but his move was postponed due to his brother’s death. Bryan then applied to Georgia Southern University, where he became a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity’s chapter called Eta Zeta. Bryan finally left for Nashville in 2001, where he signed with a record label only two months after his arrival. This was a songwriting deal through which the artist got to write a track for Travis Tritt’s album titled
My Honky Tonk History released in 2005. He was noticed signing at a club by A&R representative from Capitol Records, who right away offered him a recording contract. Bryan also co-wrote a single for Billy Currington titled
Good Directions, which peaked at number one on US
Hot Country Songs.
Luke Bryan’s first album included his debut song
All My Friends Say which took the fifth place on Hot Country Songs. Bryan was involved in co-writing all the songs except one. Other hit tracks from the debut album include
Country Man charting in the tenth place, and We Rode in Truck hitting the thirty-third place in 2008. In 2009, Bryan released
Doin’ My Thing that included a OneRepublic’s cover called Apologize, and two chart-topping singles
Someone Else Calling You Baby, and
Rain is a Good Thing, both of which were co-written with Jeff Stevens and Dallas Davidson. His third album, released in the August of 2011 was straightaway spotted as a Number One on
Top Country Albums charts, while taking the second position on
Billboard 200.
Luke Bryan has experience much commercial success with this second and third studio offerings both of which have been known to attain the ranks of certified Gold in the US. His debut and second album took the second place on US Country charts, while the Tailgates & Tanlines topped as a Number One on the same charts. Bryan’s non-studio releases include

CMT Music Awards for
Best Video of the Year and
Nationwide Insurance On Your Side Award; two
Teen Choice Awards in the category of
Choice Music: Country Male Artist and
Choice Music: Country Single for the song Country Girl; and two
American Country Awards for
Artist of the Year and
Single of the Year for his track
Someone Else Calling You baby. In 2010 the artist won two
Academy of Country Music Awards in the categories of
Top New Solo Vocalist and
Top New Artist, followed by a
CMT Music Award win for
Breakthrough Video of the Year for his song
