English singer and songwriter from Manchester, England, Steven Patrick Morrissey was born on May 22, 1959 to Irish Catholic immigrants. The first single, ?Irish Blood, English Heart?, had already been released internationally on May 10, 2004 and reached number three in its first week of sales in the UK singles chart.
