New Orleans Saints Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tickets

New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers is a football game between the two NFC teams, both of which are currently participating from the South Division.
The Buccaneers are the only team to not belong to the old NFC West, and became part of the NFL as an expansion team in 1976. They played their initial season as part of the league’s expansion phase in AFC West, following which they switched their conference with Seattle Seahawks, thus entering the NFC. Currently the club is owned by Malcolm Glazer, and plays its home games in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.  The Saints were founded by David Dixon and John W. Mecom, Jr., along with the New Orleans city, and started playing in 1967 at Tulane Stadium.

In 2009, they played one of their most historic seasons yet, winning thirteen games, entering the Super Bowl and defeating AFC champions, Indianapolis Colts. Like the Buccaneers, they too have won their only Super Bowl appearance. Since the two teams have such a similar winning rate, their forthcoming game has created much excitement making New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets quite a sought-after treat among football fans.
The Buccaneers are among the first post-merger teams from the expansion phase to have won a division title, a playoff game as well as to host and play a conference championship game. In addition, ever since the merger, they are the first team to have completed a winning season with ten or more rookies beginning, which happened in the 2009-2010 season. In 1977, they lost their initial twenty-six games, which were followed by a small winning era between the late seventies and early eighties. After that they again suffered from fourteen back-to-back losing seasons. It was in the next ten seasons that they established their winning reputation, consistently entering playoffs, and finally in 2002, won their first Super Bowl. They have however, not yet come back to the Super Bowl, and alongside New York Jets and New Orleans Saints, are among the only teams in NFL to win their one-ever Super Bowl appearance.
Through most of their initial twenty years, the Saints hardly played a competitive game, scoring up to five hundred points only twice. Then in 1987, they completed their first winning season, making it to the playoffs for the first time in their history, but were badly defeated by Minnesota Vikings. Their following season, they completed with a ten to six score, proving that they were in fact quite competitive and that their previous season was not just a fluke. In 2000, they won from St. Louis Rams marking their first victorious playoff.
At present, they are playing their home games at the spacious Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The team has many nicknames including Black Gold, Beasts of Bayou, The Bless You Boys, The Who Dats Boys and the Simon Templars.
