In 2001 seasoned ex-Phillies player Larry Bowa joined as coach and in 2004 the team moved to the Citizens Ball Park but at the end of 2004 Bowa was replaced by Charlie Manuel. The year 2007 and onwards the Phillies were in tremendous form as they won all the Division titles till 2011 and in 2008 they were crowned the champions as they won their second World series title by beating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1. In 2009 they again raced to the World Series finals but this time lost to the New York Yankees 4-2.
