Cougar the Musical revolves around middle aged women who date younger men. It’s an intelligent, fast-paced and humorous show, which debuted at the West Bank Café’s Laurie Beechman Theatre
. Produced by the comedian and actress Donna Moore, the musical has received great reviews by the critics and audience. Moore has perfectly added humor into the plot and is also responsible for penning the lyrics. The key characters in the musical include three women who are all in their forties. Lily, who is suffering from insecurity is about to get divorced for the second time. Another key character is Mary-Marie, who doesn’t care much about sexual taboos and opens up a cougar bar. The creator of the show Moore who became a star as a child, now claims to be a cougar (women who date with younger men); hence, was able to execute the concept quite effectively. Third character featured in the show is a business woman named Clarity who had enjoyed a successful career but she left her job to teach women. Mary Mossberg
plays the role of Lily. She has worked in several other theatricals such as Wonderland, Mamma Mia and Miss Saigon. She is a dedicated actress whose acting reflects perfection. Babs Winn

during her professional career and has been seen in other Broadway musicals including Chicago the musical and Smokey Joe’s Café. Danny Bernardy
is another significant character who plays multiple roles of young boys. His role of a stereotype guy is funny as well as bold, and his performance reflects strong acting talent. Catherine Porter
is going to perform the role of Lily from September onwards. Porter sings exceptionally well and her songs are featured in this musical.
